Lol. When I asked my current gf on our first date I told her two things. One, I was taking her on a date. Two, she's coming with me.

Good thing it worked too, otherwise it would have been a big confidence fail.

I mentioned to my brother as we drove past an abando that you could open a busted door and see into the main hall of it from the street, so he wanted to stop and look.
The door was a bit stiff, we had to kick it a little bit, it opened. We popped just our heads in and looked from left to right, and on the far right there was a group of lads with the biggest pile of cans I've ever seen, looking hella confused. (don't think they realised the door we used was unlocked)
Gave them the biggest s*** eating grins, shouted hello and waved like enthusiastic Playschool presenters then left asap. :s

I don't think I've ever seen such an excellent mix of fear, confusion and that face dudes pull to try and look tough omg

Just ordered an Asian Win 8+Droid tablet to hopefully do some minor lightrooming on the go when I'm without a laptop and away from home. *waits 6 weeks*

Mumsy lent me her Win 8 tablet (Lenovo Miix 2 8") last time I was in Brisbane. I already had a Surface RT which I liked, but being able to run any windows app on a little 8" tablet is absolutely amazing!

Pretty much all I did at work this week was research tabs. Found 8" ones while perfect fitting for my bag lacked some important things for me like storage and screen res so I settled for a 10.

I'll ask around. My sister lives around there and my parents were stationed there for a couple of years with the NZ army, so I'm sure they'll know some sites :) I'll let you know

There's probably heaps, but keep in mind that if you leave the main cities there's fuckloads of landmines laying around in that country still.
More than one-third of the land in six central Vietnamese provinces remains contaminated with land mines and unexploded bombs from the Vietnam War, according to a study released Friday.
Nearly 35 years after the war's end, Vietnamese civilians are still routinely killed and maimed by leftover mines and other explosives. Vietnam estimates that more than 42,000 people have been killed in such accidents since 1975.

Vietnam's Ministry of Defense estimates 16.3 million acres are still contaminated across the country, said Thao Nguyen, the Vietnam Veterans of America Foundation's country director.

Drains are fun but the location was just not close enough to the CBD for my liking and it was a pain getting in and out every time so I have found a suitable bridge much closer to the CBD. Met up with a mate today who helped me secure a sleeping bag and a bomber jacket. Then went and got dinner, mmm 3 sausage rolls, a banana and a bottle of water. Free of course. Life is good.

It's such a joke that innocent people have to die for the mistake idiots made in the past. :x
