Mumsy lent me her Win 8 tablet (Lenovo Miix 2 8") last time I was in Brisbane. I already had a Surface RT which I liked, but being able to run any windows app on a little 8" tablet is absolutely amazing!Crispex wrote:Just ordered an Asian Win 8+Droid tablet to hopefully do some minor lightrooming on the go when I'm without a laptop and away from home. *waits 6 weeks*
Pretty much all I did at work this week was research tabs. Found 8" ones while perfect fitting for my bag lacked some important things for me like storage and screen res so I settled for a 10.aydun wrote:Mumsy lent me her Win 8 tablet (Lenovo Miix 2 8") last time I was in Brisbane. More than one-third of the land in six central Vietnamese provinces remains contaminated with land mines and unexploded bombs from the Vietnam War, according to a study released Friday.
Nearly 35 years after the war's end, Vietnamese civilians are still routinely killed and maimed by leftover mines and other explosives. Vietnam estimates that more than 42,000 people have been killed in such accidents since 1975.
Vietnam's Ministry of Defense estimates 16.3 million acres are still contaminated across the country, said Thao Nguyen, the Vietnam Veterans of America Foundation's country director.

Drains are fun but the location was just not close enough to the CBD for my liking and it was a pain getting in and out every time so I have found a suitable bridge much closer to the CBD. Met up with a mate today who helped me secure a sleeping bag and a bomber jacket. Then went and got dinner, mmm 3 sausage rolls, a banana and a bottle of water. Free of course. Life is good.
