Smart thinking, with tidal drains i generally go an hour before low tide so i have a couple of hours "safe time". That is unless you like swimming in winter.
erghhh tidal drains suckkk. Most of the immediate Brissy drains are tidal and caused heaps of probs when I went out late at night, smack bang on high tide haha.
Thanks for your advice everybody I went in today at low tide it was great Were any of you in there today or yesterday there were footprints in the mud, looks like vans or connies based on the tread.
I seen your footprints in the mud too! Must of only just missed you as your prints hadent been washed away by the tide yet. Yes aydun wore vans! We walked downstream where the rock turns into concrete again and met tidal water and turned around.
Ah ok cool I didn't know where else to enter so we went in at the outflow, where did you go in at? it wasn't to deep because of the low tide but we still wore our waders to avoid getting wet. We only had two pairs but there were three of us so had to carry him for the first hundred meters or so through the water. Oh yeah and someone had stashed a bag of about 15 half used tealight candles on the roof of the drain know why?
You'll find that the candles are used to add lighting effects to photos. You've probably seen them in drain pics before, especially in the longer exposure shots.
We got as far as the waterfall, next time going to take something to aid climb up into next section, but it hasn't rained for ages so shouldn't be much water going down now
I heard it used to link with Toadie before clem 7?
