Hi all,

My name is d0dg3r and I'm a new member to the forums. I've always loved urban exploration (roof-topping, abandonments) but have only just discovered that there is such a huge community of people who also share this love.

I'm from Sydney North and am also an enthusiast photographer.

I'm also keen on checking out my first drain. I was looking at Hercules Pillar and wanted to check it out tomorrow, if somebody wouldn't mind PM-ing roughly where the entrance is that would be great!

Hey mate, welcome!
Looking forward to seeing more of your stuff.

Not sure you'll get such info after just an online introduction, though you may get lucky!
But hang around here, attend meets, get involved, and you'll find others will be more than happy to swap info with responsible members like yourself.

Cheers.

Nice photos! That second one is great.
Yeah, generally we like to get to know someone before just handing out locations. It's a trust thing.

x2

Helps also to give a bit of background on your photos too (without sharing location of course).
BTW: I'm keen to see Hercules and have an idea on where it is, just been preferring abandonments because they seem to disappear more quickly.
Just a harmless explorer. No need to waste taxes checking me ;)

Fair enough. There is some info online on Hercules so I'm going to have an explore tomorrow with some friends to see if I can find it. (Don't to explore alone.) I think I have an idea of where the entrance is but I kinda want to know where the exit (the actual pillars) are before venturing in.

Regarding the pictures that I posted. The first one is on top of a building at UNSW. The second one is the Dunlop factory.

Welcome to UEGA! Oh, you got on a rooftop at UNSW? I looked for access once in some of the older buildings, found a very interesting floor with just one tiny room and inside was a sofa and microwave.
Subscribe to my journal to see random exploration photos.

I'd be up for an expo there on Friday if you want, plus I can show you some other stuff. Let me know if you are interested. I'm happy for others to join in.

Thanks! Yeah that's Webster building in the background.

I was mainly referring to security and harzards to look out for.

Anyway, the Dunlop pic looks quite clean. Last time I visited there was trash everywhere. And looks like there's no sign of that dog.

I ended up finding Hercules. It was my first drain and it was fairly easy to get into. Really nice, clean drain!

Why do you spell d0dg3r with a 0 and a 3. Do those 2 numbers mean anything to you or was the name dodger already taken? I am fascinated by this. Also welcome!
Wander often. Wonder always.
