Thanks.
Have started compiling a list of drains and abandonments from internet searches. Will try and find a Melb member who will advise which are still current and set out on some expeditions.
Just saw a news item about an abandoned hospital and got very excited before realizing it is a 6+hrs drive from me

Just got back from ANZAC tunnel. Didnt let my lack of decent footwear or flashlight deter me. A quick trip to Coles sorted that out.......
Was pretty impressed by the size and good to learn that I am not going to step on needles every footstep or be lost in a dark tunnel forever.

Yeah I suppose. Especially now my gf knows I am not going to be attacked by junkies or get washed away she is getting ok with me walking out the door at midnight with 2 headlamps and a torch.
