Hi all,

Very new to the world of urban exploring; experience so far is confined to reading about it on the net and taking a few photos at Shepherds Hill Fort in Newcastle a few days ago. Hoping to discover some more places in this area.

Cheers,
Nikki

Hey, welcome!

Looking forward to hearing about what sites you can uncover around your area and abroad.

I know there is stuff there. I was in town for a short work stay (4 days) and found a few cool places:

Stay safe,
Happy hunting.

Cheers.

Hi Nikki,

Fellow Novacastrian here. My crew and I are going to cath hill bay tomorrow to check the coal jetty and other abandonments, you're welcome to join us (we have 1 seat free) if you can get to the uni (we all live near the uni).

Went there a month ago. Not a bad place but getting off the jetty could be tricky...
Just a harmless explorer. No need to waste taxes checking me ;)

True that, we could have managed with leg and arm ups but it was mid day and fairly crowded.
The washery was fairly cool and we'll be going back with some rope in the next few days.
