Hi all!
Just thought i'd say hi and also pop a quick question if I may dare...
My first exploration in Brisbane was the brilliant tennyson power station back in '04-'05 before the wrecking ball came down. Hours of fun in there! Haven't really found anything new since as many others have pointed out abandonments don't last long around here! However recently whilst out for a walk with my dog I discovered What seems to be a fairly decent size network of drains in my neighbourhood which I've only had a fairly short explore in as I was by myself (apart from the dog)
I was wondering if anybody could give me any info on this drain? The only clues i'll give are:
1. That its in a southside suburb beginning with 's'
2. There is caveclan graff dated 2002
3. At the first triple pipe junction there is graff that says 'business time' in black paint
Look forward to hearing from fellow adventurers!

Welcome mate!

A few southside suburbs staring with s, and I've done a lot all over the place, so I'm not sure, but I don't recall seeing a 'business time' tag.
Sounds good though.
If you want to PM me the location (completely up to you!), I might be able to tell you more, and I could suggest some other sites for you as well if you're keen.
If you have time to explore it, be sure to post the results on here!

Cheers,
Nuggs.

Could be a ton of drains really... I personally only pay attention to the talented graf... not the scribbles and tags.

Thats as far as ive been due to the rain and the smell of petrol from the servo in the right tunnel.

Thats the one champ! I've been a couple hundred meters and severel more junctions past there and it just seems to keep branching off further and further. Definately worth investigating some time. Hadn't noticed any petrol smell but i was last down there on sunday night before the rain started up, I'm assuming it would just be spillage from the pumps making its way in.

Driving past this drain on my way home today curiosity got the better of me n i went for a walk further down then last time. I found a blocked drain pipe and cleared all the rubble to free the trapped water. While having a smoke waiting for the water to clear with my torch off. 5 mins later i hear rushing water i get up and get the hell out. As the weather cant be trusted on a day like today. Only to find the rushing water was the blocked water making its way down the pipe into a junction room. Better safe then sorry i think. I will have to return again as there was a new section of pipe with yellow stepirons yet to be investigated. Now the pipe is clear for next time.

Was that off to the left fork from the first juntion? If so i know exactly the rubble you speak of cos i've banged my knees up on it a couple times! I also stopped there for a smoke cos it just seems a good spot =) It was dry as a chip though last time i went. If you continue fairly straight from that point the pipe dead ends quite suddenly but almost immediately to the right there is a branch that transitions from round to square for about 15 metres then opens back up to round again.... that one has me intrigued. I couldn't really crawl through for a look as it was difficult enough juggling the dog and torch as it was.

No it wasnt that one id need a shovel for that.
This was one or two junctions further. Had besser brick rubble making the pipe water logged. I only got one photo.

My bro in the drain, blocked drain was right of centre.
