Hii! I'm a 16 year old and new to urbex, but have quite a few locations and would love to trade or just talk and meet new people

Hello, you'll find that you'll be stuck with googling and independent searching for now! When you're 18 there'll be a lot more opening up for you.

you find better locations doing your own research and learn a lot more than just going to ones that everyone knows about, from finding s*** on my own its made it so much easier and safer doing other riskier explores, so just research on your own and its better for you long term

Does anyone actually 'trade' locations?
At the start urbex was purely about the explore. Back when I did things solo all the time.
These days if I've not got some good company along I can't be fucked honestly no matter how good the potential spot is. Everything is just more fun with others.
Wander often. Wonder always.

its mainly a tiktok thing usually when a video of a spot is put up the comments are filled with give me the location or wanna trade location thats how it usually goes on there, I try to stay clear away from it anyways most of the locations that get posted on tiktok can easily be found with simple research some ppl are just lazy and dont wanna go through the effort of finding it themselves

In general I would agree, although from time to time a little solo explore brings me some much needed solitude.

I heard it was a good way to meet other people considering I don't have many close friends into urbex (which in retrospect was not a wise idea to try to meet people through trading)
