I was recently reading Predator's "Approach Doc" and he mentioned something about people riding rapids and currents in drains and was wondering if there where any places I could do this in Melbourne?

Plenty I guess but for a drain to display a flow great enough to propel a person along in a boat it'd probably have to be raining a fair bit and as such is not something anyone should really attempt.

Most drains are fairly docile when it's not raining and you'd struggle to even sit in a boat without your ass on the drain floor let alone move anywhere.
Wander often. Wonder always.

Yeah I was more hoping that there would be some places that you didn't have to go after a lot a rain because of the risks but that you could ride all year round.

I saw a video about Fortress in Sydney and they had a huge slide that people would Boggie board down and was wondering if any places in Melbourne had something like that as it's somewhat safer lol.

Ayyy Flooded was a great boat trip but then they cleared out the creek and it just because Ayyy.
KLP was great, but they ripped it up.

Nylex is good at high tide but you're going against the flow.

You can boat into Maze but it's not very far.
