Pretty much what the title says, just wondering if there's anything specific (and/or unusual) that I would need for draining. I have had a couple of treks into Maze, and am looking at some of the more watery drains (Yarra and ANZAC mainly, but there's some aquaducts nearby ive been looking into also). Does anyone have suggestions for shoes, clothes, bags etc.?

Anything specific for deeper water sections would be lovely also :)

Thanks in advance!

For exploring drains like Yarra or ANZAC, wear waterproof boots, quick-dry clothes, and a headlamp. Use a dry bag for gear. Also, check how to Get iPhone 15 discount online!

TORCH:

If you have cash to burn - Olight have great bright torches. The downside is that they are mostly 5500k or higher (white light) and the CRI is low (ie: colours aren’t great.

For a budget I will recommend CONVOY lights on Ali Express.

A good length of paracord (550 grade can carry your weight) can assist in dodgy entrances down steep embankments.

Mostly for older explorers or those not ladder-steady, a harness, rope-grab (or prusskik cord) and 10m of static rope can make ladder traversing a lot safer, but it requires a bit of a financial outlay and rope knowledge.
