Just a quick warning for my fellow melbourne drainers,
There is an illegal sewerage inflow about 50-100 meters downstream (west) of the Dougo’s Dunny manhole access point in the southern branch of Maze.
My mate was about 2 seconds away from walking straight under it as the house above flushed...
It was a very close call and it could happen to anyone so I suggest taking the newer RCP as an alternate route if heading all the way to Camberwell Junction.

You can report it.
They pump blue smoke into the pipe and watch from above to see where it comes out.
