Hey guys, never done any urbex stuff but keen to get into it. The most I've done is just mucking around a drain or building with mates after we've come across it by random luck, nothing proper. I'm from melb's east suburbs but go into the city and surrounds quite a bit for work/uni but really I'm just happy to explore wherever has the best spots. Except maybe out west, unless there's something more than fields and cows

I love the idea of just going out and exploring interesting and weird s***, hoping to be able to get to know the world of urbex and meet some of you rad people. I'm not a big photography person myself but I can definitely appreciate the effort and work that goes into the art, from just looking around in these forums there's a lot of people here with a great talent for it.

I do a lot of rock climbing so I'd also be keen to incorporate that into any adventures, maybe do a bit of low-ball buildering ;) I've also got ropes and will soon have ascending tools for any weird access stuff and hard-to-get-to places.

Cheers!

Hey Jeano,
Melbourne has an absolute plethora of spots for those who dare.
Sounds like you're pretty open to all aspects of the scene from drains to rooftops. Obviously the legalities range greatly.
I could definitely show you a few things sometime, help you get a feel for the different aspects.
Open mindedness is key. If you're keen on being here a while all I'll say is be prepared to not be understood.
Cheers, Echo.
Wander often. Wonder always.

melbs definitely has a whole heap of stuff to get into, i haven't been a part of that scene myself for quite some years, but a number of the most popular drains woudl still be accessible, i daresay... good luck!
i was never really one for photos myself, so i get where you're coming from!

I like the sounds of that :D I'm not too fussed about legalities, as long as it's not impeding or making anyone's jobs harder if that makes sense. Other than that I'd like to think I'm relatively open-minded.
And I'd really appreciate that, if you'd be keen :) The more varied the better, for me, and getting a feel of the different aspects sounds like a good place to start. Not too sure how you guys do things around here but I'll shoot a pm to get more info.
