ATM i use a Olympus TG Tracker camera,it's a good camera it can record upto 4k and do 240 fps for slow motion and has time lapse plus a compass and gps tracking with the tempture and tells you how high or low sea level you are,it is also water proof.I also have a digital record,they are great to pick up on whispers of spirits and such.I also have a little sports camera that i turned into a full spectrum camera.I use a 300 lumens torch and a 350 lumens torch along with my waterproof divers light for when or if it's raining.

What is a good camera to use for YouTube vlogging in low-light / darkness whilst exploring? I have considered buying a Canon G7x Mark I but was told it's not good in low-light. Any info will be appreciated.

I'll need a camera for very low light. Like in places with only torch light the only light source. What would you recommend? I definitely don't think my Canon G7X is good enough to film with in low to no light

A battery powered LED studio light will be ideal for low light if you are recording there is like 200 leds on them...can get them on ebay for $40 and they let out a decent amount of light....more than enough for recording

No camera is good enough to film in no light, and the very few that can shoot in very low light are extremely expensive and even then not good.

I suggest a solution like ferret suggested or getting creative with a bright torch (Pointing it at the roof and such) if you would like to be more unassuming and remain hidden try looking into a camera with a IR sensitive lens and using IR lamps? This is how security cameras see in the dark. but the low quality probably isn't worth the hobby.

Its a shame, I to do most of my exploring at night. For now i just use timed exposure.

I went and got myself a Panason Lumix G7 and got myself a 160 LED light but i feel as if my Qudos divers light is way brighter.
