I was new in Geelong once upon a time. People aren't very open to giving something for nothing especially when, as I just noted, a quick Google search of 'abandoned Geelong' can turn up some easily accessible locations.
Try Geelong Cement Works, come back and tell us about your adventure and perhaps some more locations will flow your way. That location is a good starting point for any keen newbie in the Geelong area.
