Hi fellow UErs. Myself and my partner have been urbexing for around 4 years now. Only thing is, I'm physically disabled so we have to plan what we're doing pretty meticulously. So far we've only explored a few places around Adelaide and SA. And for a while we mixed it with geocaching.
Started out with the ever brilliant storm water drain "The Darkie" and eventually was shown Cafe Dianetics by an old friend.
That sparked my love for going places I probably shouldn't. We've randomly come across deserted farm sheds, and disused cars and rusted out equipment.
I've researched and tracked down a couple of locations, including the ruins of Arthur's Seat, The abandoned Cactus Ranch and I found the gallerie but have never really been able to enter without attracting attention. I will continue looking and hopefully should start getting some great pictures of our adventures. Looking forward to chatting with other UErs. Peace out, :D :) :D :) lovelies.

Adelaide looks to have some really nice things! But it's so far away 😿

It's pretty far from other cities. I'd love to urbex Syd. 😀 Maybe we can find a way to swap bodies for a week or so. ( I'd give you time to get used to being in constant pain. Dw. Lol)

Have you ever managed to get into St. John's? That's my dreeeeeam.

Well, the constant pain doesn't sound fun, but I so would to see some Adelaide drains!

Do you mean St. James? If so, unfortunately not 🙁 Thanks to all the Instagram exposure that related infrastructure was/is getting, access to the St. James ship has sailed.
If you do mean St. John's, than I don't think I know what that is!

Oops! I definitely meant st James.
(St john's is a graveyard in rural S.A lol)
YeH :( the more I've read and watched, the more I've become aware of the tightened security etc. such a shame. Can't take the legit tours either since I'm not local.

Adelaide is very lovely though. Plenty of places to go and explore. And yes! The plains and the hills are ripe for urbexing! Love it.

Not sure how much is left now, but last time I went to SA was for Port Augusta, and it was awesome:
