Hey,
I am super new to Urban Exploration. When I was about 10 my friends and I would walk along the creek out the back of our house just to see where it would lead. It was alot of fun. We would explore the tunnel that would take us under a road. At night is was kinda fun listening to cars go over. Thats where I got the interest in exploring. Everytime I would move I would drive around the area to get a feel for it and just to look around I guess. I was doing some research for a uni assignment on geology and a few things pop up and I clicked on the youtube clip and from there I was really excited to see people who had the same inquisitiveness to me.
For me though I like rooftops. I like to see what the people building it would have seen. I guess that goes for alot of different buildings and drains too. I kinda like to get a feel for what the people working there or building it or living there would see and feel.
:) Thank you for reading all that. Hope to see you out some time in the future.

I like this post. It's a great first post. It has this is what I did, this is why I like it. It does not have "TELL ME WHERE YA LOCATIONS IS AT NOW!"

Well done Toby.
"Oh! That's YOUR web site!" ... "Yep, that one." http://www.uer.ca/urbanadventure/www.ur ... windex.htm

:) Cheers Panic. And thank you for your comments. I kinda respect what people do and find. Also I think part of finding a place whether you go out with an idea in mind and have look at the local maps, looked at local government websites or just by driving past a place and doing some research on it. I think that's part of what has got me hooked on it. The excitement of finding a place that looks amazing or sneaking up to the hotel roof or finding a tunnel. I know there's a couple of houses abandoned within a 100km radius of home but haven't looked at them yet cause I don't want to go alone. I guess that's the other reason for signing up here is to talk to people who like similar things but to also see if I can meet up or if there are meet ups as I don't like hitting up stuff alone and don't know many people doing this but yeah its cool.
Cheers guys hope you enjoy your exploring :)
