Cat here,

I'm a member of another group here in Melbourne, but it's having a few communication issues right now and I'd like to keep my contacts open. Signing up here isn't me really leaving, so much as...dual-wielding?

I'm currently finishing up my honours at Swinburne, and have lived in Victoria for seven years now, in which I've only been exploring for the last three. I've seen a lot usual around Melbourne, and I'm generally fond of bridges and abandonments. Slowly branching into photography but definitely not as passionate about it as a lot of the people I've met. Some of my better stuff may slowly come online one day.

I live pretty far north-West, so I generally see exploring more as a social thing than something I can do regularly - as such I'm always up to meet new people through the hobby!

Im not sure I'll grow into these forums too quickly, but I'm pretty responsive to private messages and on Telegram!

Also I'm in Sydney the weekend of the 17th (September), so if anyone has some cool travel tips... ;)

Hi there. You don't mention drains in the list of things you're fond of, but I'd probably be up for a drain or two the weekend you're in Sydney if you want!

What, you mean there's another UE group out there? Who'd have thunk?

Welcome to us. I kind of miss Melbourne. The Sydney expo seems like a great idea. Plus the Sydney mob are very friendly and accommodating. I'm sure someone can show you around.
