New. Some history of casual urbexing over the last 15 years but not a whole lot collaborative. Lots of curiosity, respect and open-mindedness. Would love to learn more about the craft and explore Ballarat and Western VIC. Willing to listen & learn.

Welcome. Nice intro, nice approach and attitude.
I've not realy explored much in Ballarat myself. There are some old bluestone drains, and lots of mines. Nice trams too.
Anyway, welcome to the site.

Thank you, Panic. Whilst I am happy to keep on foot solo for the moment whilst I build up my knowledge and skill, I would also love to crew up a little as most things are more fun with others. There are lots of amazing places here but my knowledge is thin at the moment.

welcome, very too keen to see ballarat drains, maybe sometime next year, if you're still around
if drains become your thing, which they should, the trip to melbourne is well worth it, then again there are piles of awesome abandos there too
looking forward to seeing what ballarat has to offer!

Ballarat is fantastic, one of the best adventures I've had was riding freight trains to Ballarat then exploring the old civic hall, alas can't do either any more I don't think.

There's some great things out that way, some cool mines, lovely drains, if you're willing to drive a little bit you'll find lots.

That would be great! I have been mooching around drains mostly - haven't begun to scope the mines yet...
