Head On

on the 2/4 i was out riding near my house getting ready for a ride to Buladilah in the next few weeks. i was riding the Honda up a fire trail and came around a corner and there was another bike coming the other way on my side of the track, i had nowhere to go and we hit head on. as a result i ended up with a badly broken hand dislocated elbow and broken collar bone, also lots of bruises and cuts.
should be back to normal in a few more weeks, looking forward to exploring again.

I also think you were lucky as a few people have been killed in similar circumstances!

Thanks. Bike is being sold after its fixxed! I heal quick, ive broken many bones from bikes but never from exploring! I think I'll stick to that

WHAT!?! Far out, that's mental. Glad it was 'only' a few broken bones, could have been much worse. Hope you don't have bone fragments floating around in your shoulder. They pinned my collar bone and it healed VERY quickly, you doing the same? Looking forward to more explors together soon

Na mines just floating around in there. Feels like crap. They said if it doesn't take in another 2 weeks they will operate. I don't know why they didn't do that in the first place!

It took them 5 days to pin mine, and I thought that was bad.... pinning it just means it heals in the correct spot. If it heals by itself theres a big chance it wont line up correctly, plus the pain sucks. It was immediate relief for me

I'll talk to the doctor tomorrow and see if i can get it pinned! The hand and elbow are spot on just this damn collar bone crap!
