How old are you?
I wouldn't recommend myself as a good influence but there's a few around here who I'm sure would take you on a possible explore. In the meantime just go and check out something mainstream like Bradmill, Maze Drain or similar. Get a feel for it.

They're still fine last time I checked. As for locations I don't give them away. There is actually a public map file floating around if you google hard enough.
