hey guys i am new to the whole urban exploration thing and me and a mate really want to get into it and learn of some awesome spots to take photos and stuff like that so if anyone could point me in the direction of some awesome spots that would be great

Yeah, no. If you want awesome spots get out and find awesome spots. No one is going to gift them to you.

I am relatively new to this, would say research (google) is your best friend. Networking with other people helps a bit, google earth, other pages relating to urban exploration and urbex blogs and websites... just gotta know your area well and the places will find you :p

If you're looking for drains then take a walk or bike ride around the river and you will find plenty of good ones.

Predator's approach to draining is a great starting point for any drain explorer.
Look for outlets by the river and when the tide is down hop in and have a look up them. But make sure you're very careful with the tide as you could end up swimming back out :lol:
