Hello, I am a relatively new urban explorer from South Australia who is keen on the videography side of 'URBEX'. I am keen on viewing any videos of other explorers who have filmed sites around SA/ Australia.
I am unsure if I can upload a video into this forum so I will provide a link to where my videos are to share with ya'll.

Happy exploring peeps :D

There isn't really much going on on the "videography" side of urbex as you like to put it. Not on this forums at any rate. I also watch a fair amount of urbex youtubers and can honestly say there aren't any consistent uploaders of content based in Australia.
Don't you think exploring during the day would provide better video?
Wander often. Wonder always.

Thought I would try and reach out and see if there are other people who record their explorations. Yer most of the URBEX popularity has risen and remains popular only with photography which is fine, some amazing photos out there.
Good question, myself and the people who I go with are usually only free at night. I enjoy filming in dark conditions as it adds more ambiance to the shots. Filming during the day to me just looks boring, there is no mystery as everything can be seen.
But in saying that I am sure to upload some explorations taken during the day, I just prefer the night.

Welcome. I love a good exploration video.

I remember seeing a couple videos on YouTube of Brisbane darkie and checkmate before I'd gotten into this sort of thing. Dark and poor quality, but ever so exciting!

Thank you Aydun,
Awesome, I checked out some of the vids. Haha you were't kidding about the quality! Still it is cool to watch though.

Funnily enough, most of the places I shoot video really shouldn't be put up in the public eye... For some reason I never break the camera out in drains and that.

IronFistDoug on YouTube has some great ones, especially if you like old school stuff.

spigot You make some sense there, ideal to film selectively to avoid legal repercussions I suppose... thanks for the info, will check em out!
