hello everyone. im new to the idea of urban exploring. i have seen photos from inside old buildings and tunnels and thought "wow that looks fun." i never knew it was such a popular sport (can i call it a sport or is it a hobby?) so i hope to hang around and get to know and possibly explore with the fine members of this site.

Hey mate,
Welcome to the forums,
I can't say Surf Coast is the hubbub of urban exploration activity, but there's some cool things near you that might be good to check out.
Point Lonsdale has some nice bunkers, and there was a cool abandoned school camp behind them, down by the lighthouse.
There are some mines around Otway Forest Park, and Colac had an abandoned high school.
