Hi from Sydney
I've been into urbex on and off for about 4 years. Started off with a cave clan drain exploration in when I used to live in Melbourne then just ended up going out with a friend and sometimes on my own.
I've since moved back to Sydney and fatherhood got a bit in the way of my hobbies, but it's starting to even out again and I've been trying to get out a bit more.
My main focus on urbex is photography but the thrill of the adventure is definitely a very close second.
I'm always on the lookout for a bit of decay. I've almost had many a car accident not watching the road while scoping a suspected abandoned building for a way in.
I guess I have to say I joined up because I was looking for some new places to plan some visits and hopefully to meet some like minded people to tag along with. Had a run in with some copper thieves on one of my last adventures so I guess strength in numbers rings true.

Are you sure this is a good idea?

Eeek! That part used to be pretty cool and pristine before being overrun by yucky tags. Oh well guess it's had better days...
