Weird. Reminds me of Natalie Wood being dead in her Surry Hills home for like eight years before anyone thought to suss that situation out.

Interesting. So I assume if they can't find an owner then what? The council takes possession and sells it?

Silly yuppy neibours, oh we can't have an ugly looking house on our street now can we.
If that was my house I'd clean up the broken glass, pay the $20k, and then paint the bastard pink with purple stripes, let's see how they'd like that.
There's plenty of houses like that around here, they only seem to bother the well-off and stuck-up.

Either way, I'm not sure what it's doing in here, you guys aren't into exploring terrace houses are ya's? :\

Id guess that its probably heritage listed or something...
And id also guess that there isnt actually an owner for it - the line died off...
I reckon the only reason that a noise is being made now to "locate an owner" is because if an owner doesnt exist, and noone makes a claim on it then it shows how dysfunctional they have actually been about addressing it.

They simply dont want to take the blame or recognition that they didnt do their job - and they are hoping that someone makes a dodgy claim just to dispose of the responsibility.

It's way too hardcore for me. o_O

BTW, the owners of that house came forward and paid the debt, they didn't even know they owned it.
