Hi everyone,

Being new to the urbex scene i have little equipment needed to go on big explorations, i know i need a torch, water, camera and a bag.

What are some suggestions to other equipment that is useful when exploring?

Cheers,
Cameron

My normal exploration gear is a small backpack, 2 torches (a main and a spare), 3 spare sets of batteries (rechargeables), my camera and a pair of manhole lifters. I used to take markers but I realised that that's not the best thing to be caught with if you are detained, if I'm only doing drains I sometimes still take them to write in the guestbook.
Those are just my personal preferences on gear, I like to travel light. Not to mention I always wear black jeans, a black hoodie and black shoes. Cos I just like black ;)
You basically named the core items that you needed, anything else is just personal preference.
Wander often. Wonder always.

I'm new to these forums so I'm not sure how this works but is there any chance you could have a link to where i could buy manhole lifters?

Ebay or make them yourself.. I got a set cheap as with free delivery.
Just as evolution intended, I was designed by DFEX..
