Is the sound my truck will make soon.

I really need to finish this conversion asap as its taking up the small amount of time that I usually allocate for exploring. :(
anyways, turbo is from an fg falcon (ball bearing core), and everything else I have made from the junkyard!
modified carby to blow thru. oil feed and return lines just about done! need to make dump pipe and plumb up intake.
this should give a little more life to old gold, not that she was slow to start with!

Speaking of noises, I crunched second gear again the other day. I think my legs are too short for the clutch. :( Need gearbox rebuild soon lololol.

I suspect that if you put your hand under or beside the driver seat you may find the way to move the seat closer to the pedals

Yeah nah, any closer my knees will dig into the steering shroud.

First part should be any time on boost then the rest when off the pedal? Probably.

Yep 60 series 3f. Motor and box are stock but recently reco. Motor had head work for unleaded and strong enough to handle a little bit of boost. Hopefully will be driving it today! :D

You will need to pressurise the Float bowl as boost pressure will blow fuel back through the jets and run lean !!! When turbo-ing a Normally Aspirated motor with carby everything on the fuel delivery side has to rise with boost pressure also.
Have you reduced the compression ratio, as nearly all turbo'd motors run in the area of 7.5-8.5:1 any higher and you will have detonation issue (explosions uncontrolled in the combustion chamber) this will melt plugs and pistons and cause major overheating!!

If you go for low boost of say max 3psi you may get some reliability but I shudder with the thought you haven't put a compression plate in and it's gunna go "BANG"

yep, I got an external fuel pump and return style rising rate pressure regulator also I have an old turbo fueller from the 80's, compression in the old thing is only 9-1 from factory so all good! wastgate is set to 5psi. job nearly done now, drove it down the street yesterday. need to join dump pipe to exhaust and tune!

take me for a drive lol ,had the opportunity to buy a mazda rx7 s3
Had a 13b turbo motor that went mental for a standard motor then again 250 horses pushing a 900 kilo car is spastic power to weight !

Im a rotor fan. Where I work has an fd rx7 race car (targa) and I do most of the work and have got the opportunity to drive it on the track. It is wild but it is high maintenance!

I would love to own an FD, but engine rebuild all day every day. :(

First thing ill point out is weight of a rotary engine they are extremely light\
seccond the amount of moving parts only 3 things in the whole engine move!
and third that beautiful brap when the intake is modified

Rotaries are obviously superior considering they're still in production.

Rotaries are banned in F1! what does that tell ya!! A clue the Normally aspirated RX7 of Mad Mike's makes more power than a normally aspirated F1 of the same capacity and it's basically a ported standard motor, not some super dooper!! cost gazillions to develop.

Insane motors!!
