Has anyone been to Hercules Pillars lately? I heard there was a blockage somewhere resulting in 6ft deep water. Want to go today but want to be prepared lol

I heard it was just at the entry point where they put some kind of concrete wall/blockage. I imagine there are some manhole chutes not far from the entry point where you can jump in and stay mostly dry, but I wouldn't know. blakjak mentioned it to me not too long ago, but my memory is shocking

If that's the case its not as bad as it was made out to be. Getting wet comes with the territory i guess

At the downstream end. Outlet from the detention basin is blocked. You can't miss it.

As Aydun just said, only the GPT pit right down stream (just after the pillars) is full of water, you can't go out that way and stay dry. It get's this way now and again, we've unblocked the now blocked hole a few times, you need a 5m length of rebar or similar.
Either way it's more fun just to go in and back out from the upstream end, the stairs in the GPT just lead to the creek and some topside buildings.
