Anybody Want to Play Tour Guide in April?

Help? Am holidaying in Melbourne this April and keen to visit a few local sites while I'm in town.
I have a list of the places I'm hoping to explore but there's nothing like having a local show you around. If anybody's interested, I'm happy to cover petrol/transports costs and keep us fed/watered.
Will likely be in Melbourne the third week of April and staying in Spencer Street FWIW.
And in return, if you're ever over NZ way, I'd obviously return the favour - including a visit to the abandoned girls' boarding school that I've been living in for the last two years.

Welcome to the forums by 29 minutes :D , but I'd suggest you to use your second post for a short intro in the New Member Introductions forum. After all, we wouldn't want to be exploring with a potential murderer. Okay, but seriously, welcome to the forums and share what you've been doing too!

Flick me a message when you're down, I'll introduce you to the non-stoopy goodness of Melbourne.

I'm always up for meeting new people. Can't say for sure of I'll be free in April at this point but I'd definitely be up for showing you a few places.
Post again when your trip is a bit closer to happening and we'll see what we can arrange.
Wander often. Wonder always.

Thanks Nick and Echo. Will definitely be in touch.
Midget: Not sure how I prove I'm not a murderer, because if I was I'd probably kept that info to myself. But anyway, have just posted in the new member forum too. Thanks for the tip.

Yes indeed; though it's more derelict than abandoned, I guess. Extra cheap rent but the owner won't fork out for security so we spend a lot of time kicking people out. Am actually writing about living here for UE Mag.

Scavenge for fencing and boards. Get inspiration from The Walking Dead.

My article on living at Erskine has now been published. If anybody's interested, I'll post it on here.

PM me your email address, Fudoh - and anybody else who wants - I'll flick you the whole magazine in PDF form to read. There's quite a nice piece on an American missile silo plus some stunning photos throughout this issue.
