Kinda regret selling my gameboy advance SP.... Got $80 for it and then spent it on something I can't even remember. $80 wasn't really worth the memories.

Get your ass to the expo! :p
If you can't make it, I'll still be down here for maybe 2 more months, and even after that I'll still come down quite frequently, so I'll be able to show you around a little :3 You still gotta explore with me in Sydney too >.>

So tempting but I made it :p Had a 'long nap' from like 6 to 12, so that helped.
I've got the same Nuggs :3

Two things stopping me. Rain and the fact that I finish work at 9pm today. :( As soon as it's sunny, I'm out for some photos. :P

Going out draining with a guy Delo introduced me to this morning. If I don't return, it's all Midget's fault, as always

I think I'm just going to give up finishing off my photos in any reasonable time. Today is the 3rd day that I left the house as late as possible for work, so that I could do some processing on my photos.

Ah, finally, the true purpose of drones!

In other news, I checked out two drains today with a Canberran that Delo got me in contact with. Pretty cool guy. He was happy to do 7 hours of draining, so that's good by my books :p

Anyhow, I now have some mad blisters from my new boots... really need to invest in some decent socks. Was able to play around with some wool spins. Photos aren't by any means amazing, but I definitely have a better grasp on how to do effective wool spins now. :)

The second drain we went in took about 4 hours end-to-end, at which point we exited via. a manhole. Thankfully we could see through the manhole, so we knew it was safe. The first 2 hours or so were completely clean; no tags at all. After the first hour or so, we figured out why >.< Bit of a back-breaker, but thankfully it only lasted a half hour or so, with a couple of breaks. Needless to say, I'm exhausted!

I'll post a couple of pics on my Flickr later. :)

Can never have too many socks :3
I bought a whisk this morning and I used that with some rope. I'm not sure if it's better to weave it in such a way that the bulk of the material is outside of the whisk, or in such a way that the bulk of it is in the middle... any thoughts? It's my first time with wool spins, so I tried to get a feel for the best way to do it. I feel like I should do it slower next time and perhaps adjust the shutter speed to be shorter. I'm sure I'll figure it out eventually... you can show me next weekend ;)

Are there others ways of doing wool spins that you know of?
