Ah s*** I figured that was the case. Really should've checked up on that before I bought a camera kit, it seems like just buying the body + kit lens from a shop and then buying extras may have been a better option, at least not by much though. Can you link me to a good place to buy the real thing possibly? :3 It's for a D3200 if it's relevant, just don't want to mess up againMidget wrote:You're using a cheap wide-angle adapter, which is never a good thing. I actually have tried this, but it lacks a lot of features that other programs (Lightroom, for example) has, and usability for its more advanced functions is kind of sloppy. That being said, I don't claim to be a master of photo editing, so I really couldn't tell yaNuggs wrote:Anyone else tried Photoscape?
Completely free.
I find it very good, but admittedly haven't used anything else in a long time - so I may be biased.
the sigma 10-20mm is a good option, set me back about $400 for a nikon mount... there are two models, one has lower f-values, I wouldn't bother with the more expensive model though, you might find one cheaper second hand i guess. someone on here uses a tamron wide, lightknight i think?phytrix wrote:Ah s*** I figured that was the case. Thanks for the suggestionNo+Pro wrote:the sigma 10-20mm is a good option, set me back about $400 for a nikon mount... there are two models, one has lower f-values, I wouldn't bother with the more expensive model though, you might find one cheaper second hand i guess. someone on here uses a tamron wide, lightknight i think?
I don't believe it does, but the latest update seems to indicate it will start to function as Picasa did with its facial recognition though I still have not found a better application to organise social photos by person/location etc. No+Pro wrote: i also like how you get a preview with the different filters, i dont use them on the puter as its a pain without preview - or does LR5 have preview i dont know about?
For a cheaper option, go with NoPro's recommendation. Great value for money, but if you can stretch your budget a little more, the Tokina 11-16mm is an absolute beast for crop sensors. f/2.8 constant aperture all the way through. It'll give you a bit more room to play with, and don't worry about the slightly smaller range compared to the Sigma 10-20mm. You won't notice it.phytrix wrote:...
That's a lot of money. O.OEcho wrote:Does anyone here bet on sport? I've got $210 down on various games this weekend.
It is lol especially when you don't have a job but whatever, probably another moment of me doing something stupid.Midget wrote:That's a lot of money. O.OEcho wrote:Does anyone here bet on sport? I've got $210 down on various games this weekend.
It's just like going to the Casino, which I admit might've been more fun. If I win I may go to the casino, can't resist a good game of casino war or blackjack.Fudoh wrote:Shouldn't gamble wat u can't afford to lose...
That being said I hope u did ur research first before throwing down ur dosh, just cause they're favourites don't mean they'll win. Also those are pretty s*** odds, if you're confident than u might as well parlay it and only risk $100@$1.61
...but anyways I'm not n expert but definately shouldn't get into it if you don't know what ur doing

I have always found over cast and rain to be the perfect weather for day time shots.Crispex wrote:overcasty isnt ideal for snapping flicks.
