Exploring Penrith

Hey guys,

Tomorrow I am going down to Penrith, NSW and I was wondering if anyone could PM me some locations. Also does anyone know much about the xxxx?

Maybe you should post in the NSW Regional section and ask if there are any explorers around Penrith who would like to go exploring with you. As a few people mentioned in your introduction thread, people are quite hesitant to just hand out locations to new members, and this is generally a better way to go about it imo

Aha, and in regards to what he was posting about, there's a crapload of info about it online, considering that it was/is such a prominent landmark.

I haven't seen much in penrith but in the blue mountains if you go to lithgow there is the blast furnace and you can walk around there with out worry and there are a few other places in the mountains that i can't say where....

Dunno about the forst 2m but 3 and 4 are nowhere near Penrith. West maybe, but not Penno.

They may be surrounding suburbs but all defiantly within the Penrith council area..

Ah so were going on council boundaries now. Why not just call it all Sydney and be done with suburbs and boundaries??
And you don;t have to go 4 suburbs away to explore, I can think of 3-4 good drains (and some average ones), and some abandos, all within 1km of Penrith train station.

Hey Blackjak I just trying to let the guy know there is plenty around the Penrith area if you look around....I hope you were able to help him out??

Nah, don't know him from a car of soap. And he don't need me to tell him, all he has to do is look and he'll find plenty. Heck, the whole of Jamison Park is surrounded by canals! (that's the only hint I'll let slip)
If you can't find drains using Google Maps or even an old street directory you're probably better off just doing something else like playing Xbox etc. And it's so much more fun when you discover them yourself.
