My name is Kat I live in the dandenong ranges, I have been photographing abandoned housing/buildings on and off for 10yrs! as it is hard to get permission/find abandoned places around my area if anyone knows of any? I would love to take a look and add more to my album.

Welcome to the forums! People are generally quite hush-hush about locations, but I'm sure some of the Melbournites would be down to do some exploring with you, or alternatively some people may disclose locations as they become more familiar with you around the forums :) There are a lot of great sites around Melbourne, you just need to keep a keen eye! Also in regards to permission, a lot of us don't seek permission before exploring abandoned buildings. Generally, it's relatively low-risk. Occasionally the police or security will show up, and you can either run, hide, or chat with them, and they're generally pretty understanding and just tell you to piss off. If you're not comfortable with that, though, then all good :)

Are you interested in draining at all, or not your cup of tea? Especially from a photography perspective, it's like a whole new activity. Enjoy your stay :3
