Hello my name is Sid, i am 13 and currently living in Melbourne, i have explored a few drains and i was wondering if anyone wanted to go exploring with me.

I believe you may find it slightly difficult to find people around your age/that are willing to explore with you. Having said that if you can display a reasonable maturity level and contribute to the community maybe down the line people will feel more comfortable with potentially doing some urbex with you.

I sincerely hope you stick around, its always nice to see someone so young not caught up in his iPad or computer, getting out and enjoying themselves.
My suggestions would be to keep exploring on your own (I explore solo quite frequently), get some pictures/cool stories that you can share with us and then when people see that you're serious maybe they'll be more inclined to include you.

Also UEGA frequently has people joining so if you stick around someone your age might come through. It could be tomorrow, it could be next week. You never know.

I really need to change my age on this. I got a happy birthday message a few days ago because my birthday was wrong, so I changed the month but not the year :d I'm actually 18 fyi xD But yes, still young and naive.

For sure man, I'll probably get down there in July, maybe a bit earlier depending on how things play out.

18... You know the only reason I didn't want to explore with this guy is because I and you for that matter are of legal age that places a duty of care on us if we explore with him. If he gets injured, killed, arrested etc we would be responsible.

Yeah I get that, for me though I'm confident enough in the safety of the drains. I think if you take the proper precautions there's as much chance as getting seriously injured in the drains as there would be getting hit by a car, so it's a risk I'd be willing to take. Obviously different people would do so differently, and that'd be perfectly justifiable. Plus good lawyers OP

My Dad's a lawyer

I dunno... I wanna but I don't at the same time. I'll think about it. At the end of the day he's going to explore with or without us. So isn't it better that it be with someone so that if something does happen its kinda safer.

Yeah idk dude that decision's up to you. Obviously a bit of a risk, but that's the case with many things.
