Just contact them as Nuggs said (follow the link). Let them know what you're into, where you've been, why you want to join, etc etc. Let them know your age (at least let them know whether or not you're 18+). From what I've heard, Sydney CC are a pretty hospitable bunch and are relatively active, so you shouldn't have to wait too long for an explorer's expo! Good luck :)
