Howdy,

As per title who went to Helensberg tunnels? Is it anything interesting or is it as crap as Picton tunnels?

not worth a trip on its own,can do them all in an hour or two on the way to/from something better

And make sure you don't lose your shoes in the mud. Not that exiting and I don't think the lights and camera flashes are good for the glow worms or what ever they are.

Yeah, exactly. It would be good to do them on the way to Your Taxes and the Gong. There's an abandoned factory down there too, plus some abandonments such as old schools.

It's under the ground. That's why it's a tunnel. It may or may not be in a place called Hellensburg. But I could be wrong. Wink wink. :)

i shall be trying to go to these tunnels this week sometime [taking the newest toy for a run through the national park] and seeing as ill end up right near it i plan on trying to see these tunnels, and also there is 2 or 3 abandoned train stations in there as well i have heard, but need to do more research]

i will be going for the main tunnel but i have mapped out where the others are and will see how easily accessiible they are :) there are actually 6 or 7 of them
