I'm mostly into rock. from the 50's to current, especially Aussie rock (Chisels, Crawl, Split Enz, etc).
I thrash Greenday, Offspring, & Pennywise, often.

Song that makes me think of abandonments is by an 80s Aussie band...

I noticed mention of Substrata by Biosphere. Never would have expected it - a masterpiece.

For me it's probably either one of the Eno 'Ambient' series or something by Nine Inch Nails.

its nearly the end of another year, again!

and this year imo two DJ's killed it internationally, Dj Sneak and Markus Shulz

and our hometown hero flume and WA's favourite son Ta-Ku went global!

id say it was a great year for electronic music in general
