hey all only new to site and the 'hole' urbex adventuring. live around parramatta sydney am 35 not real fit and looking to ease my way into urbex with a few easy to enter Drains tunnels bunkers abandoments. rooftops and cranes doesnt really float my boat as stated i unfit and climbing sounds strenous enough. i work a 4 on 4 off rotation so have some spare time to get out and about once i can actually find where to go. Any and all help is greatly appreciated on locations, names of places,suburbs anything that can get me heading in the right direction doesnt have to be gps co ords just a tip for me to research track down. eg someone suggest callan park hospital rozelle. thanks again for any and all help

There are plenty of decent drains around Parramatta. Most of them quite large as well, so you won't have to worry about stooping. No doubt you've seen the canals.

i went for a quick look down near parra river saw a footbridge with what looks like a old car river crossing bridge under and some new looking stormwater tunnels in middle of parra park near the cafe but didnt have time to suss it out and only canal i know of have been filled with concrete and turned into a bike track

It wouldn't be filled with concrete, just capped. Most drains were former creeks or canals.

There are some huge cavities in one of the Parramatta drains. Runs under some buildings, and the same drain also has a large corrugated arch, which is rarely seen in Sydney.

I think that was a play on words, seeing as it was in 'brackets'.
