Provided weather is good tomorrow, I'm planning on checking out the headland bunkers. Which is the best: North, South or middle?

Probably Cape Banks at La Perouse, or Middle Head.

Bradley Head or George's Heights (Middle Harbor) would be my pick for a first bunker. Easy access, well maintained, safe/legal-enough, and close to others if you decide to keep going afterward. Bring lots of change for the parking meters though.

South Head are the least maintained and easiest to explore since none of them are locked.

North Head are the most maintained but hardest to explore since they're all locked up, but you can go on a tour of those.

Middle Head is in between in all regards.

You can't enter any pf South Head bunker's underground rooms or tunnels though.
Middle/Georges Head would be the best profit.

seeing as how i never made it last time and will be picking up new camera in the area gonna head out tomorrow to take some test shots

trip was foiled again this time by 4yr old nephew who thought bunker sounded scary so ended up at the zoo retry again tomorrow
