So there's this thing that eats concrete, known as "Concrete Cancer", anyway, from time to time, it destroys bridges to the point where they have to be closed down like this lovely bridge. Example A:

Just found it rather interesting & fun to climb. Going to be demolished very soon, (Note, not a construction worker, we just put on the jackets when we're doing something we shouldn't and hope people assume we're meant to be atop the bridge...)

My bottom of the range Canon SLR (550D) with a stock lens for the first 3, and the last 2 were taken on a point'n'shoot.

It's all about how you edit them ;)

Sorry, but I cringed hard at your opening sentence. "Concrete cancer" is not a "thing that eats concrete", it is a colloquialism to describe a general durability failure which could result from a wide variety of different processes.

Technicalities aside, that bridge looks like a really fun abseil.

Wow that looks good! So you climbed up through the ladder inside and then abseiling down the outside? Which state is this bridge in?
