Greenvale Sanatorium
Does any one know if greenvale sanitorium is still around.
I've heard it was knocked down.
Hoping to get a glimpse of it.

Well, all the buildings are, so there's not much to see, in terms of institutions there's still Laurendel & Pentrdige Prison around, but both of them are on the way out too.
Larundel is ok due to its size but pretty much destroyed.
Give me like 2 weeks and I'll arrange UEGA's first Vic expo, I'm still in Europe atm, and I've got so much stuff to do once I get back. Pentridge is great fun if you do the old untouched stuff, especially if you haven't been there before and you go alone. Sounds good. You have given me the motivation to make a trip. I went last night and it was lit up and had security cameras at my chosen entry. Are you still thinking of doing an expo? I ask as I have weekends free in a couple of weeks.
In terms of Pentridge, isn't it just the facade that remains?
Larundel was pretty awesome back before the redevelopment. Went there a few times and saw and heard stuff I couldn't explain. Never found the morgue, but there was one buillding we couldn't get into.
Seems like all the old buildings have been demo'ed or redeveloped particulary in the last few years, including the mental asylums in the country (Beechworth, Ararat)
