Hi folks just stumbled across this great forum. Currently living in Tasmania which wasn't listed as a state during sign up. Tassie has some great places to explore perhaps if someone reads this and would like to team up for a few explores that would be great. I live in Hobart.

Heres a link to some of my pics

It is kind of a debate whether it actually is a state of Australia or not... ;)

PS very nice shots, some of them look like they have been digitally created which is a cool but weird effect.

Is that the Asylum near Hobart? There's some huge stuff all around Tasmania.

There are also quite a few of amazing walks, such as The Overland Track. Done it (yet)?

No I havent done the overland. Its on my to do list before leaving and going back to NSW lol

Yes the royal derwent is australias oldest mental asylum and about 30 mins from hobart - and now sadly abandoned and being knocked down. Also supposedly one of australias most haunted places.

Welcome Wellos! Great shots too. The HDR is a bit strong for my liking for a few of your photos but it certainly looks like there are some decent abandonments down there!
