Urbex and Opera?

I made a wiki page for the Spring Hill reservoire a few months back. It has since been updated by someone who linked to this interesting page in the references:

Places they are performing at is Jenolan Caves (nsw), Spring Hill reservoir (spring hill, qld), Swanbank power station (ipswich qld), Bli Bli castle (qld) and a mine in Mount Isa (qld).

I'm thinking of attending the Spring Hill Reservoir event as I have always wanted to see the interior (without busting a lock). Looks like this might be our chance. Thoughts?

Spring Hill reservoir would be terrible for an opera due to it's size. It says 120 seats per show but I think even that would be making it quite cramped.

Yeh a while ago. What you can see in the BCC photo is the extent of the reservoir. The photographer would have had the rear wall against his back.

The footprint of the reservoir is the same as the buildings above it.

There's another taller but round version of DeathStar in regional Vic that has awesome acoustics,

We went down there on an expo a while ago, and had 10 people all making the Halo theme song in a giant hollow cylinder. I wish I had a recording of it...
