I just recently visited the Cafe Dianetics drain in Adelaide and thought I should post some photos. It's my first time trying to embed photos so hopefully it works. :D

Nice.

Are you doing V while you're there?
If so, take your shorts ;)

I probably won't be able to do V since I'm leaving Adelaide in a few days but I managed to do:
- Edge of Parnell/Twin 60s
- Cafe Dianetics
- Xirth
- Brighton Darkie
- Schweppes
- Tea Tree
- Zena's Crusade (didn't get any photos unfortunately)

I'll probably post some more photos of those soon.

Have you already done some on a previous visit?
Maybe you're using some different names, but Adelaide Darkie, St Peter's Twins, Zorga's & V are all must dos (although V has some gnarly pot holes at the moment).

Have a look at some of my more recent videos in my Adelaide folder>here<

On my last visit I did Cafe Dianetics, St Paul's Retreat, Osmond's Pet Fish and St Peter's Twins. I forgot to mention I did Zorga's this trip and I just made a post before about Looney Tunes which I visited after my list I sent you. The only one I've uploaded to youtube of my recent trip is of Schweppes: https://youtu.be/x45T7tQvP4w?si=EEPlEYgEYkjkmkZC. I plan to have Tea Tree, Xirth, Looney Tunes and Cafe Dianetics uploaded soon.

Have you done Adelaide Darkie?
I attempted it once but when I did it was quite full of water but I have seen your video on it and the Awesome Adelaide post and it looks definitely worth checking out. I hope I get around to seeing it one day.

Yeah mate, definitely worth it.

Keep in mind over the years, good bits keep getting replaced with s*** bits.

Out of curiosity, what are your 7 favourite Adelaide drains? (I'm planning on another trip and I've been asking people for their favourites so I can work out what to do

Not in any particular order I would say:
1. Looney Tunes
2. St Peter's
3. Showbags (I think it's more common name is Goodwood)
4. Edge of Parnell
5. Schweppes (short but really big)
6. Xirth
7. Gibberschnickle

Cool thanks.

We (a few visiting from Melbourne) found Goodwood & called it Goodwoody after one of us present (Woody) but then when Adelaide Clan started up, they thought it was a typo & removed the Y.
