G'day all, I'm wondering if anyone on here knows of any "ruins" "mines" or that kind of thing around Albury Wodonga that aren't more of a "public knowledge" sites. Preferably not somewhere I have to "trespass". I know about the wallaby mines (not been yet is it worth going to them anymore?), had a squiz around the old quarry under the Albury monument hill not much there, went off word of old FB posts and found the prune street mines in Lavi (they are on private property and have been sealed completely), and I have explored many abandoned farm houses out near were I live ( I had full permission from the current property owners). So is there anything anyone on here knows about that is worth a look?

There's alot of mine adits to explore if you are keen, know of dozens over the years, personally haven't ventured into any but have found alot, some barred and some not. Have to be careful in and around them though.

I myself am quite keen to explore and find out about the "hidden" history of the area. I did little while back find the blocked prune street mines tunnels, and have been researching other mines and old infrastructure in the area but not got very far in ways of locations or rough locations. I would be very interested in any you know of, and are happy to share about. I have spelunking gear and am trained in such things as far as safety. And thanks for responding to my original post haha
