Regarding WSMs in smaller drains...

This is a topic i'm sure many of you will be familiar with recently.
Having come across these yet never truly interacted with them in numerous small drains, how should one apply caution when crossing a WSM?

I understand it might be a newbie question, but i just want to keep safe, especially what with all the terrors such as CPGs and SSLs that frequently haunt drainers!

Also, are there any gases I need to be wary of around WSMs? I've heard some stuff about the infamous H4Le1, but is it really as bad as people purport it to be?

Thanks in advance for any advice you have!!

I’m quite confused…
Stinky Sewer Lines? Waste Sewer Manifolds? Cat Poo Gasses?
Sumps? Dangerous gasses? Do you mean H2S? No clue.
Don't slip in poo

WTF? IDK! Oh, Secure Socket Layers? They're only used in computer games mate, not real drains.
As for Wicked Sewer Monsters, only in Darwin as far as I know. But yeah, they are a big problem if encountered in small drains.
Your first tip is asking for locations wont get any replies. Urban exploration. Not urban tourism. - Echo

Don't you know nuffink?
WSM = Worcester, Sauce & Mustard.
CPG = Car Park Gang (very dangerous on Friday & Saturday nights).
SSL = Storm Sewer Louts (very violent drain exploring crew)
H4Le1 = is a rare drain Pokemon.
DoW = depending on weather.

Perhaps an urbex dictionary should be in order.
Water borne diseases are temporary. Drains are forever.
