Afternoon all!
I'd love to share my current setup for Rural and City Exploration, feel free to share your current setups, tips and tricks.

I'll start from top to bottom on what I wear:
  • Some Cheap Polarised Sunglasses I got at a Festival
  • Condor Face Mask (Multicam Black)
  • 5.11 Tactical RUSH MOAB 10 (It's actually a really good camera bag)
  • Long Sleeve Shirt from Target (Somehow this shirt has survived)
  • 5.11 Tactical Defender Flex Jean
  • Salomon QUEST PRIME GTX (The Gore-tex has saved me from having soggy socks so many times!)

I do know some of my stuff does cost a pretty penny and it was truely worth it.

In my 5.11 Tactical RUSH MOAB 10 I have all sorts of stuff, here is my list of what's currently in the bag as of this post and it surprisingly all fits:
  • 2L Camelbak Hydration Bladder
  • Gerber Strongarm Serrated Edge Fixed Blade
  • Canon 80D w/18-55mm Lens
  • DJI Osmo Mobile 3
  • DJI Osmo Mobile Tripod (I am so happy it was a 1/4" Thread fitting so it fits my larger cameras
  • Extendable Tripod which I forgot the brand of
  • a pesky $15 torch from BigW
  • A very expensive headtorch which I got about 5 years ago as a gift
  • 5x Bunnings Face Mask
  • Lots of Snacks and spare money if I get into a bit of a pinch

Cheer's for reading, I look forward to hearing what you guys and gals have! Have a good one!

- A sweet pair of miss-matched thongs
- My uber cool Element skateboard back pack i had from back in highschool thats ripped to shreds
- $12 special Kmart jeans and $3.50 shirt
- Modded Supercheap auto torch
- IMALENT DN35 as back up for the main torch
- like 20 spare batteries for some reason

Pretty much the sneaky beeky set up.

I don't really carry a kit per say.
Depends what I'm doing.
In theory I break what I'm carrying down into 3 distinct activities.
In practice I just carry it all all the time, minus probably the UDT because that thing is annoying to conceal and looks strange if questioned.
I just throw it all in a normal looking backup. All about staying stealth and not carrying anything which cant be concealed easily or explained away if someone asks.

Drains -
[*]Pair of manhole lifters
[*]Head torch
[*]Spare hand torch
[*]Couple of sets of rechargeable batteries

Abandos- Nothing really?
[*]Maybe a door shove but most likely not

Rooftops-
[*]Door shove
[*]UDT or other similar stealth entry items depending on location
Wander often. Wonder always.

They're all online. Manhole lifters you can get a decent pair on ebay for like $20ish. Door shove, just check a website like lockpicksaustralia or similar. The lifters aren't illegal to carry. The door shove is probably a bit more questionable.

I see a lot of people travel light. Is it just a preference for URBEX?

Side cutters 😂👌
No particular torch I seem to have a hundred torches so which ever has good batteries.
Then if required what ever tools are needed to get further next time .. keep it light
