Does everyone video in 4K? I am wanting to upload video's to youtube and feel as if 4K files are abit big and feel as if 1080p is high enough?
When I was active on on YT, I always just went for Full HD. Also, the research shows that the majority of users watching my videos were watching on a mobile device. So Full HD was a no brainer. On a side note, I found that when filming in 4K (Hero 4), even with decent memory cards, I was having issues with “SD Error” and my files corrupting.

Yeah i was doing a little research on my camera (lumix G7) and everyone was saying they record in 4K but this camera lets me video in HD 1080p and take photo's on the fly at 4K.
