Hi,

I've always had a thing for abandoned place. And I've been tempted by urban exploration for a while but couldn't find anyone experienced to give me some tips.

I've been in Australia for 5 years now (originally from Belgium) and it seems that there is a whole lot of interesting places to see.
And not long ago, I came across a page about an abandoned textile factory in Brisbane, (from someone going by the name Pussinboots) and the photos got me wanting to get into it.

I love places where it looks like time just stopped. I wish I could get in contact with the owners of abandoned places to try to save some of the machines from getting tossed in the scrap when they demolish the buildings. One day, maybe, I'll have a museum for those old relics.

I've only been inside a couple of abandoned houses, never had a chance to take photos.

I've got plans to go to the old "Tooth and Co" brewery pretty soon.

Feel free to toss me any suggestions and tips.

Thanks

Ben

Edit: I probably could add that I'm from the Tamworth region, if anyone is from that area and would like to meet.

And, two of my most desired destinations are the Kola super deep bore hole and Pripyat. I've got a think for old Russian technologies.

My other interests are pretty broad: electronics, botanic, nature walks, old mechanics and electrics, cooking (I used to be a pastry cook, cake maker,) being active, most applied sciences, (math, physics mainly,) 80's to 2000's music (not fuss about the new music), learning new things, enjoy life and things while they are still there.
