So recently due to looking for abandoned places to fly (miniquads/drones).I started doing a bit of exploring in general..
Found a few cool places local, however looking for a few more ..

* Bando @ hexam
Nothing special but pretty cool place to rip around, heading back hopefully this weekend.

* Wickham / Carrington side of the coal loaders
Nothing special however pretty epic train crossing i think about 10-15 lines. Get right up to some big tankers. Day dependent.

* OAK factory
Nothing special, thought it was abandoned however when i got into the back section there was a few cars etc so mainly flew and explored the south side. Hole in the fence behind the Oak retail side south in garden.
* Store Carpark
Really enjoy this from a flying point of view, security is pretty low currently. Would assume it will stay that way if nothing is damaged. Yet to get into the actual building, just carpark.
* Old train tunnels out towards Kurri / Suggie.
Looks like a simple old train tunnel but yet to head in a few mates take pics out there.

Few places i should visit from my understanding.

-fort wallace
-stockton bunkers
-newcastle bunkers

Cheers
